A qualified facilitator leads each group, although these are not therapy groups. All three sections are part of the Boundaries education and support curriculum that has been restructured to include new material and activities. You may enter at the beginning of any session. Each group will address the skills to create healthy boundaries, healthy relationships and the expression of emotions in a healthy way, but in a different context.
Section 1
Boundaries, which separate us from others physically and emotionally, are essential in creating healthy relationships. Learning how to develop and maintain our boundaries becomes an effective way of making changes and maintaining these changes. Other topics include: self-esteem, assertiveness, personal responsibility, individual rights and developing new relationship roles and behaviours.

Section 2
This section emphasizes practicing new skills, utilizing new information, and developing awareness to create healthy relationships and avoid future crises. Topics include: self-acceptance, assertiveness, values and beliefs, sexual boundaries, communication skills and conflict resolution.

Section 3
This section emphasizes the importance of self-care to maintaining boundaries and the positive changes to our lives. Topics include: family of origin, problem solving, goal development and setting priorities, rational thinking, self-talk, reframing and translating knowledge into action.
